In general this is not something that should need to be done.  Intwine's Logistics Experts will generally ship systems pre-configured, activated, and tested.  However, there are cases where IP Passthrough needs to be enabled after the fact please use this article.  If you still need help, don't hesitate to reach out to us!

There are two primary methods to set the IP Passthrough mode on the ICG-550.  You can either use the Star Portal or you can use the local webapp.  The process however is the same process is almost identical on both.  Therefore this article will assume that you are connecting locally.

  1. Using a PC, tablet, or other computer connect to the local webapp of the ICG-550.  (Need help?)
  2. Once you are successfully logged in, click on the Services menu and select the Passthrough Settings section.
  3. Then Enable Passthrough and the Passthrough Settings fields as needed.  Field definitions below. Then click save to complete the process.
    1. Passthrough MAC:  This allows you t define a MAC address that will be the only MAC to have the IP passthrough to it. (We recommend leaving this blank)
    2. Passthrough WAN: This allows you to define the WAN interface that will have its IP passed to your end device. (Normally should be set to Cellular)
    3. Passthrough LAN: This allows you to define which LAN port that the device to be passed through the IP will be connected to.
    4. DHCP Server: This defines if the passed through IP will be served through DHCP. (We recommend leaving this on)
    5. Lease: This is the amount of time that the passed through IP will be leased through DHCP.  (We recommend leaving this set to 1 hour)
