Many times you will want devices that are connected to your ICG-450 to have the same IP address every time they reboot. To do so you will need to assign that device a static DHCP lease.  To proceed, make sure that you have the MAC address of the system you want to set the lease for.

  1. Login to the ICG-450 webapp (need help?)
  2. From the left-hand navigation menu, select Services to get the following screen
  3. Click on the Fixed Address List to see all configured static DHCP leases
  4. To add a new lease, press the "+ Add" button then enter the MAC address of the device that you are creating the static lease.  Enter the desired IP address.  Make sure that it is the the correct subnet. Then press the Save button

Once complete you will need to reboot the device that you assigned the static lease to.  For some systems you may need to force the system to obtain a new DHCP lease.  For example, on Windows you may need to run the following at the command prompt

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
